Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain BIM models for structural projects using Revit, Allplan, Tekla
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs into overall project models.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D models of structural components, including rebar, precast elements, steel structures, and concrete.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, drawings, and schedules.
• Understand clash detection results and amend models accordingly.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and provide input on model-related issues.
• Continuously update and manage BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the implementation of BIM standards and best practices within the organization.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in the structural discipline.
• English proficiency in conversation.
• Proficiency in Allplan, Tekla is advanced.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in model creation and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and industry standards.
Ihre Aufgaben:
- Create 3D modelling of the main steel structure using TEKLA, including columns, beams, bracings and plates, with bolt and weld connections.
- Create 3D modelling of the secondary steel structure using TEKLA, including gratings, handrails, staircases and ladders, using custom components.
- Prepare shop drawings, including general arrangement drawings, assembly drawings, and single part drawings.
- Prepare reports, including material lists, assembly lists, part lists, bolt lists, weld lists and drawing lists.
- Perform clash checks for modelling, between reference models and objects in reference models, as well as between parts.
- Create templates for the latest version of TEKLA for steel structures.
- Create custom components in accordance with the requirements of each project.
- Review and analyse project documents to identify drawing and specification conflicts, insufficient information, and missing dimensions, and report any such findings to the BIM team leader for clarification.
- Review and sell-check shop drawings (prefabrication, segment) and materials for compliance to production and drawing standards.
Ihr Profil:
- At least 3 years’ experience in drafting/ BIM modelling according to Eurocode.
- At least 3 years’ experience in TEKLA steel structure detailing.
- Bachelor or master’s degree in civil engineering or structural engineering.
- Basic knowledge in Structural Engineering acc. of Eurocode.
- Good knowledge in steel structure detailing.
- Experience in coordination with other parties and clients in projects.
- Good communication skills in English language.
