As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Division Manager to lead our Engineering Division in Vietnam and drive project excellence through effective leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for innovation.

Position: Division Manager (Engineering Division)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Reports to: Technical Director / Group Director
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead and oversee end-to-end project delivery within your division, ensuring all milestones meet timeline, budget, and quality targets.

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, resources, schedules, budgets, and risk management.

• Monitor project performance, resolve technical and contractual issues, and ensure client satisfaction.

• Conduct regular project meetings (internal and external) to align stakeholders and track progress.

• Prepare and submit project completion reports and performance summaries.

Division Operations & Administration

• Manage the overall operation of the Engineering Division, including BIM, C&S, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, productivity standards, and quality objectives.

• Oversee division administration, reporting, and inter-department coordination to maintain operational efficiency.

• Monitor and analyze Odoo project records to ensure accurate task tracking and reporting.

People Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop Design Managers and their teams to achieve technical excellence and professional growth.

• Plan and allocate project resources effectively based on workload and skill requirements.

• Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and coordinate skill development programs.

• Foster a collaborative and motivating team culture built on respect, accountability, and innovation.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

• Drive improvements in company workflows and operational procedures.

• Collaborate closely with other divisions, clients, and external partners to ensure seamless coordination.

• Support company-wide initiatives to enhance project delivery, quality control, and digital transformation.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in design and engineering, including at least 1 year in a management role within a structural design firm.

Essential Skills

• Excellent English communication (verbal and written).

• Strong leadership, people management, and organizational skills.

• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex projects under tight deadlines.

• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, time, and risk management capabilities.

• Culturally adaptable with experience in cross-department and client coordination.

• Reliable, professional, and self-driven with a positive, collaborative mindset.

Desired Skills

• Experience in project management and leadership training.

• Proficiency with digital management tools (e.g., Odoo, BIM systems).

• Background in engineering consultancy or international project environments is a plus.
