At gbc engineers, we’re expanding our Engineering Department in Ho Chi Minh City — and we’re looking for BIM Engineer (Tekla) to join our international team of experts from Germany and Vietnam.

What You’ll Do
• Develop and maintain BIM models for structural projects using Allplan, Tekla, Revit
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs into overall project models.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D models of structural components, including rebar, precast elements, steel structures, and concrete.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, drawings, and schedules.
• Understand clash detection results and amend models accordingly.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and provide input on model-related issues.
• Continuously update and manage BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the implementation of BIM standards and best practices within the organization.
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in the structural discipline.
• English proficiency in conversation.
• Proficiency in Allplan, Tekla is advanced.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in model creation and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and industry standards.
