Structural Engineer Infrastructure

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam



  • Responsible for the design and technical construction of bridge and infrastructure projects
  • Participate in the implementation of technical drawings for bridge projects using software such as BIM or similar programs
  • Conduct calculations and structural analysis of bridge structures to ensure durability, safety, and load-bearing capacity
  • Select appropriate construction materials and verify the feasibility of design solutions
  • Assist colleagues in resolving technical issues during bridge construction and ensure compliance with technical regulations
  • Ensure quality and adherence to design and construction processes for projects
  • Monitor project progress and quality related to bridges and infrastructure
  • May be asked to participate in non-design engineering activities such as construction inspection and materials testing, surveying, and field data collection
  • Effectively collaborate with others and lead transportation and bridge teams in all aspects of bridge analysis and design, from conceptual planning and preliminary design to final design and construction
  • Identify creative and innovative engineering solutions based on client, project, and site constraints
  • Responsible for the accuracy of engineering design, reports, load ratings, and plans, quality presentation, thoroughness and follow-through, and efficient conformance to budgets, schedules, and company standards
  • Communicate effectively with project team members, including other engineers, architects, and construction personnel. Collaborate effectively in a team environment to achieve project goals
  • Other tasks assigned by Managers


  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Bridge Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge and infrastructure design
  • Proficient in using software such as BIM or similar programs to implement technical drawings
  • Understanding of regulations and construction standards related to bridge and infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Skill request: AutoCAD 3D, Structural / Civil, Etabs
  • Understanding the Eurocodes system, German National Annex, and being proficient in using AllPlan is considered an advantage
